With the new version of lighttrap underway and ticking along nicely, plans to bare an illustrative sibling are once again underway.

It was a year ago that the idea surfaced, during a discussion between a lighttrap founder and a freelance Illustrator. Together they laid the plan to emulate the philosophies behind lighttrap and apply them to the equally tough industry of illustration. Later that day, after a quick naming session, Two Dean Men hatched and both the .com and .co.uk URLs were bought.

However, with various work commitments and lighttrap to establish first, the idea took a back seat, unable to sustain the pace with which is was conceived. Unfortunately, in that time, the idea behind the name 'Two Dead Men' was lost – as if mystically wiped from all recollection. Some say this happened because the idea came from beyond the grave, where as others, more sceptically, just reckon the founders can't be arsed to recollect the naming session and explain themselves.

Either way, the idea is back on track. Two Dead Men are resurrected and shall be coming soon to a server near you.
